SHERRI MANGUM

BIBLE / LANGUAGE ARTS

I am so excited to begin my sixth year teaching at Trinity Classical School! I am so encouraged by our team of teachers and our new location. I began my journey at the school in 2010. I teach 5th-8th grades Language Arts and 7th-12th grades Bible.

My family moved to the community in 2008 when my husband accepted the position as Lead Pastor at River Point Community Church. We have four children that I homeschooled for 10 years prior to taking the position at Trinity. Our oldest son graduated from homeschool and was an honor graduate of Toccoa Falls College. Our second son graduated from Trinity in 2013. Our third son graduated from Trinity in 2016 with Classical Distinction and our daughter will follow in 2018.

I attended Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Education with a minor in Psychology and Bible. After graduating, Kevin and I served as youth ministers for 17 years. I truly love teaching middle school and high school students. I am very passionate about youth understanding that their relationship with the Lord is personal and that their intimacy with Him depends on them. I love being a part of a school where I can pray boldly, where I can teach the Bible unashamedly, and where I can speak into the lives of the students compassionately. Trinity is a wonderful school that prepares students for success.
